The Geometrical-Physical terminology for mathematical operations and polynomials
Cilaw Faye, 8/27/2026
The concept of the measure particle and the measure polytope can be used to to express any polynomial with rational coefficients or powers as well as any mathematical expression in a language that refers to our knowledge of the geometrical-physical dimensionalities. Typically, when we encounter x^2, we read out, “x squared,” referring to the nature of the square, and when we encounter x^3, we read out, “x cubed,” referring to the nature of the cube. We can also read out x^7 as “x hepteracted,” just as we refer to this power by the measure polytope for a lower dimensionality. We can do the same for expressions such as 2x, reading them out as "x atomed," or an expression 3x as "x baryoned(hadroned)." We can also extend the terminology to measure particles of higher dimensionality such as 8x as "x yottaeoned." We can also consider rational and negative powers and coefficients. x^(1/4) would be "x inverse tesseracted," and 2x/3 would be "x atomed, inverse baryoned". x^-6 would be "x negative hexeracted" and -5x would be "x negative petaeoned".
Examples:
x^5 +3x^2+7x+5
“x penteracted plus x squared, baryoned plus x zettaeoned plus five.”
2(3)
"Three atomed"
4(7)
"Seven aceoned"
2^2
"Two squared"
3^5
"Three penteracted"
4^9
"Four enneracted"
x^9 + 2x^7 + 8x^5 + 4x^2 + 2
“x enneracted plus x hepteracted, atomed plus x penteracted, yottaeoned plus x squared, aceoned plus two.”
x^(1/5) - 3x
"x inverse penteracted plus x negative baryoned"
