What are "material axes" (aka "substantive axes" or "axes of matter")?

We observe that there are two types of electrically charged materials, “positive” and “negative”. This is a two-degree of freedom system. In space, when we have two degrees of freedom, we use “spatial directions”, the pairs of spatial directions or spatial axes being, “north-south (latitude)” and “east-west (longitude)”. Therefore, it goes that “positive” and “negative” are nothing but the “material axes” of a two-dimensional substance.
The rule for “material axes” is that different material axes interacting generate attraction, whereas same material axes interacting generate repulsion. The rule for spatial axes is that different spatial axes intersecting generate rotations, whereas same spatial axes intersecting generate translation.

Additional notes on material axes
What are the material axes? They are the axes of matter, or an aspect of matter, just as the spatial axes are an aspect of space. Matter has measure within n material axes if it is n-dimensional matter.
As spatial axes make up a space, material axes make up a material. An n-dimensional space has n principal spatial axes, whereas an n-dimensional material has n material axes.
A charge or a mass is to matter what a length is to space. An electric charge is to matter what an area is to space.
The material axes exist for matter as the spatial axes exist for space. Matter can have magnitude within n material axes if it is n-dimensional. Space can have magnitude within n spatial principal axes if it is n-dimensional.
Spaces have distances along the principal spatial axes whereas materials have charges within the material axes. For example, a rectangle can have a distance of 5 along the x axis and 10 along the y axis. A piece of metal can have a charge of 10 within the vitreous axis and 9 within the resinous axis.
Materials that are within the same material axis generate repulsion, materials that are within different material axes generate attraction. Spaces that lie on the same spatial axis are associated with translation, spaces that lie on different spatial axes are associated with rotation.
